Marine Habitat Mapping

Geo Oceans was engaged by a major Oil and Gas company to perform a large-scale benthic habitat mapping survey in Indonesia.

The baseline survey was completed using the GO Visions Habitat Assessment Towed Camera System to map and classify benthic habitats across a 400km2 survey area. A total of 158 subtidal and intertidal transects were completed within two survey periods.

The scope, including the provision of a comprehensive baseline report (including benthic habitat maps), was delivered successfully, within budget and with no HSE incidents.
