ROV and Towed Camera Coral Habitat Marine Monitoring Survey

Geo Oceans designed and implemented a benthic monitoring program for coral and filter-feeder communities using diverless towed camera and ROV methods.

The program supported the management of potential impacts of construction and dredging activities associated with a major wharf expansion project.

The methodology was designed by Geo Oceans and was reviewed and approved by commonwealth and state regulators. On each survey, ten monitoring sites were completed in three days using our GO Visions technology.
