FPSO In Water Class Survey (UWILD)

Geo Oceans and Vertech demonstrated the capabilties of the ROV vessel inspection system for in water surveys (IWS) on offshore floating assets. Tasks included NDT, visual, navigation on hull and fouling cleaning.

The FPSO hull was heavily fouled and the ROV had to be attached to provide to provide a stable platform for cleaning and NDT.

The ROV Vessel Inspection System included hull attachment tools for stabilisation, HP and mechanical cleaning tools, CP and UT sensors, sonar for navigation, laser profiler and caliper tools for chain link measurements.
