Oil Exploration Field Monitoring Survey

Geo Oceans was engaged by Apache Energy to undertake before and after benthic habitat mapping surveys at a proposed exploration well location off the coast of Western Australia.

The baseline (‘before’ survey) was completed using the GO Visions Habitat Assessment System to map and classify benthic habitats across the survey area, including a visual assessment of 59 pinnacles of interest within the area.

Geo Oceans was engaged directly for the survey and managed all HSE aspects of the project including contracting the vessel and complying with all Apache HSE requirements for marine survey operations.
