Pipeline Benthic Habitat Survey

Geo Oceans was engaged by a major oil and gas company to perform a large-scale pipeline benthic habitat mapping survey off the north-west coast of Western Australia.

The survey involved working alongside the client’s project engineering team and third-party ROV contractor to complete an environmental assessment of the subsea infrastructure.

The scope required careful coordination between Geo Oceans and the various project contractors to integrate the GO Visions™ technology with the ROV and positioning systems.

The scope was delivered successfully, with the client gaining a valuable understanding of the current benthic habitat baseline conditions on and alongside the subsea infrastructure.
