FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Over the last 12 years, Geo Oceans has undergone an incredible journey of innovation, development, and growth which has allowed us to become the organisation we are today.
This journey has only been possible through the application of the combined experience, efforts, and talents of our entire team and through the guidance and mentoring of our leadership team, specifically Ben Brayford and Nick Veitch.
Today, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Veitch as Geo Oceans’ new Managing Director.
Nick has been a director of Geo Oceans since its formation and has worked closely with Ben, and the other founders, to establish and build the company. In that time Nick has held a range of responsibilities covering commercial, strategy, technical, projects, and operations, and has been involved in all levels of the business.
Nick had the following to say about this crucial development:
“Working with Ben over the past 12 years has been a privilege, and I wish him all the best in his next career move. I feel very proud that we were mates prior to starting Geo Oceans, and that we will still hold that mateship into the future.
Over the years Geo Oceans has grown to include a group of genuinely lovely and highly competent people who love what they do and enjoy coming to work every day. They are some of the industry’s most talented ROV, robotics, marine science, and engineering professionals and I feel very privileged, every day, to be able to work alongside and support them. Continuing to foster and enhance that innovative and positive culture as we grow into a global company is a challenge I’m really looking forward to.
I am extremely excited about where we are taking the company and the collaborative technology developments that we currently are working on with a range of stakeholders, including our sister companies within Vertech Group and CWL Group.
It really is a very exciting time to be involved in small subsea robotics and I feel that we are part of a huge shift taking place globally in the way we operate in and interact with, the underwater environment.”
Nick will lead the company in its exciting next chapter supporting our diverse client base through the application of innovative subsea robotics technologies to solve inspection, scientific, and technical engineering challenges.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the company’s former Managing Director, Ben Brayford for the dedication, time, passion and effort he has poured into the company over the past 12 years and wish him all the best in his future journey.
Under Nick’s guidance and leadership, we are looking forward to what will surely be an incredible new chapter in Geo Oceans’ ever-growing story.
Congratulations Nick!
